BACKUP PROFILES

• When the drives, folders and files have been selected along with the options and preferences for the copy process, a profile of this information can be saved as a specific file name.
• Each unique profile can later be scheduled to run at a specific time or run without requiring further selections or changes to copy options that were previously selected. The user can change existing profile selections and options at anytime.
• Begin a copy or restore with a just a few mouse clicks.
  
  Also, start Double Image via the built-in scheduler or by calling a profile from another application or click on a profile icon using Windows Explorer.
• Double Image-O provides power users an added feature to backup Dynamic Disks including RAID arrays, Striped disks and Spanned disks.
• The ability to copy open files is embedded into Double Image-O so you don't need to purchase and maintain two different products.
• Double Image-O works at the disk/volume block/sector level and is not disturbed by the operating system, regardless of new service packs or operating system upgrades.

 RUN MULTIPLE BACKUPS

• Double Image software is multi-threaded, providing the fastest method of running multiple and unique copy sessions, on a single machine.

COMMAND LINE OPTIONS

• Administrators and application developers can go beyond just using UI Profiles.
• Double Image can be run with command line options or profile + command line options.
• These additional features offer the ability to have backup or restore sessions run silently and remotely using such commands like -run:invisible.
• Command line usage also permits other user applications to run Double Image/Double Image-O without a UI and process a backup session as if were part of their own application.

NON-PROPRIETARY

• Double Image creates non-proprietary output, meaning you could use Windows Explorer to access folders and files written by Double Image.

THE TREES

• The detail right pane shows a Backup Tree or a Restore Tree or Both.  This pane may be collapsed or re-sized to use less of the UI or Maximized to use the entire UI interface.

REGISTRY

• The active registry can backed up and restored, both locally and with networked machines, taking advantage or Remote Registry Restore. This feature is in addition to copying the entire registry folder and files, when copying open files.

WARNING AND ERROR REPORTING

• Ask what to do when any error or warning is encountered
